Why learners actually remember these
Phrasal verbs are where English stops making sense: get up, get over, get along, get away with. Visualinguistics turns each verb into a map. Every meaning sits in its own panel, acted out by the same five night-class classmates, with a speech bubble that uses the verb in a real sentence. Learners see the meaning, hear it in context, and meet the same characters again in the workbook pages.

Meet the cast
Rosa, Tarek, Mai, Josué, and Amina are classmates in an evening ESL class — working adults with jobs, families, appointments, and plans. Learners meet them at the clinic, the salon, the job site, the bus stop, and the class potluck. Every sentence is standard English, every scene is respectful of adult learners, and nobody gets put down.
Who it’s for
Adult ESL and community college ESL classes (High Beginning to High Intermediate; WIOA/NRS Levels 3–5), workplace English programs, tutors, and independent adult learners.
